Each week I will post 1 or 2 recipes based on the items for sale at grocery stores around the county.  So check back every Monday to get some great food ideas and save so money!

Simple Pasta Salad

There are not too many weeks of grilling season left. This is a really quick and simple pasta salad that you can make with hamburgers or hot dogs. Most stores have ground beef, hot dogs, rolls and condiments on sale this week. This pasta salad will easily serve 6 people.

Grilled Corn

The recipe is quick and simple this week because I am off doing my first Triathlon this weekend. Use this grilled corn as the perfect side dish to some of the past recipes that have ingredients on sale this week like the London broil, Sausage with grilled mango, or Mediterranean turkey burgers.

BBQ Chicken Pizza

There are so many great ways to make pizza at home. Between the toppings you can use and the ways you can cook them, the possibilities are endless. When I was growing up we would cook pizzas as a family on Fridays. It is something I will always remember.

Grilled Peaches with Ice Cream

These are a great, healthy way to end any meal. If you are not a big fan of honey or cinnamon feel free not to add them. I would give a half peach to each person, so this is set for 4 people.

Sour Cream Pork Chops

with German Potato Salad

I feel like pork chops often get the reputation of being tough or flavorless, but these are quite the opposite and they are so simple to make. It is also a different way to prepare them then your normal pork chops and applesauce. I love creating delicious pork recipes since pork is more affordable than beef.

This recipe is for 4 people and is set for one chop per person but if you want to give people two chops, double it. The German potato salad will feed 6-8 people.
